2nd Tallest Monument In The Ancient World
The Ancient Sinhalese built the “Jetavanaramaya,” (approx. in 300 A.D.) which is the second tallest monument in the ancient world after the Pyramids of Egypt. This has also meant that the Jetavanaramaya has earnt the title of being ‘The tallest non-pyramidal structure in the world that has stood for more than 1000 years’ (still standing by the way).
