Note from the Founder:

As an Australian of Sri Lankan descent, I didn’t have too much knowledge about Sri Lanka and only knew of the country through its tea, cricket and its revered exotic scenery.

I decided to travel to the island nation for a holiday and was surprised by the in-depth history it had to offer. I felt that due to Sri Lanka’s small size, its amazing historical achievements were simply underrepresented to the rest of the world.  This inspired me to gather knowledge and conduct more expansive research so I could create this website. I would definitely recommend going there for a holiday, a truly magical place where we can escape our busy lifestyles.
